Do you want to engage in a meaningful conversation about mental wellness?
Throughout the evening, facilitators will guide attendees through how to engage in active listening skills in order to participate in a crucial conversation with meaningful questions and appropriate responses. We will be practicing how to start difficult conversations, how to listen actively, and how to ask challenging questions regarding the mental well-being of those around you.
Sample questions for discussion: “What are some of your common stressors and how does your body respond to this stress?” “What are some of the signs that a family member or friend is in distress?” “How would you start a conversation with someone you suspect is in need of support?”
