The WCMEDC is excited to present our communities with a free cybersecurity workshop in conjunction with Boise State University’s Cyber Operations and Resilience Program on Wednesday, June 14th from 11am – 1pm at the Payette National Forest Service Supervisor’s Office at 500 N. Mission in McCall.
Description: We will explore the evolving landscape of cybersecurity threats and the strategies that organizations can use to defend against them. We will discuss the importance of a proactive security posture, effective risk management, and incident response planning. Attendees will come away with practical insights and best practices for securing their networks and data in today’s challenging cybersecurity environment. We will highlight projects that their BSU students from the Cyber Operations and Resilience program have completed in conjunction with other Idaho communities and how they can help your region as well.
All organizations, small businesses, and local governments in the West Central Mountains who want to learn about this important topic are welcome. Lunch will be provided by the WCMEDC, and an RSVP is appreciated for a headcount for lunch.
