Relive Andrew and Genny’s quick trip to New York, Barcelona and Marrakech–3 continents in 13 days. Do’s, don’t and must-see’s from a whirlwind travel experience. Andrew and Genny are seasoned world travelers with decades of combined insights from travels to 6 continents and over 30 countries.

Andrew Mentzer is Executive Director for the West Central Mountains Economic Development Council where he works closely with regional stakeholders to build systems for economic success. Andrew founded Boise’s first international traveler’s hostel and managed the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM) for the Idaho Department of Commerce. He has also worked as an Account Manager for Stoltz Marketing Group and was the Statewide Operations Manager for the Idaho STAR Motorcycle Safety Program.

In his spare time, Andrew mentors K-12 students through Junior Achievement, moonlights for the Boise Weekly, and, explores Idaho’s wild places with Genny.

Genny Gerke has been engaged with Environmental Education (EE) for the past 10 years, currently serving as an Educator for the McCall Roots School. Genny studied Environmental Studies at The College of Idaho, Bioregional Planning at the University of Idaho, and is also a graduate of the McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS). She has worked for The World Center for Birds of Prey, Zoo Boise, the MK Nature Center, and The College of Idaho’s Outdoor Program.

She enjoys running ultramarathons, exploring the mountains around McCall, and cooking plant-based meals with Andrew.
