An event every day that begins at 7:00 pm, repeating until June 20, 2020
Seven Devils supports the development of plays that embrace the diverse landscape of the American experience. By inviting audiences to participate in the new play development process, we empower artists and audiences to have a greater stake in each other’s success; create opportunities for dialogue that broadens our understanding of ourselves and others; and fuel the creation of work that reflects, challenges and celebrates us. Today, Seven Devils has developed more than 250 new plays, by Pulitzer Prize-winners, emerging writers, high school students and everything in between, through a variety of programs aimed at supporting and empowering playwrights to do their best work free from the pressures and concerns of full production. We have special interest in underserved and rural writers. Because of the ongoing international health crisis, for the first time in two decades, we are unable to host the conference in our beloved artistic home of McCall, ID. Though we will miss you with all our hearts this season, we have found a way for the conference to move forward, virtually. We will be hard at work for the next two weeks, and will present virtual performances of new plays on June 18, June 19, June 20. If we can’t be with you in person, we’ll be with you in spirit. Much love to everyone in McCall!
