It’s Indie’s big day! Barn Owl Books’ beloved shop cat has been featured in Bookshop Cats by Daphne Du Meowier!

Join us at The Barn Owl on Tuesday, April 7th, between 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., for their Bookshop Cats release party! Indie will be personally signing copies of the book, available for purchase. Enjoy refreshments and celebrate their furry star all day.

Indie has brought so much joy to the bookstore, to staff, and to you – our customers. We are grateful every day that we adopted her in 2022 from MCPAWS Regional Animal Shelter.

Indie’s daily antics keep us smiling. Whether she’s sneaking a bite of someone’s breakfast croissant, batting a sheet of paper coming out of the printer, chasing ghosts around a display table, or simply dozing at the front desk, we are so and happy to have her as part of the bookstore team.
