Experienced Event Coordinators! Come enhance your resume with this One-of-a-Kind Winter event located in beautiful McCall Idaho!
We are searching for a talented and motivated Event Coordinator to plan and execute our 2020 McCall Winter Carnival. The Coordinator will be responsible for all event preparations and execution including, but not limited to, managing the budget, vendors, logistics, individual events (parades, raffle, bingo, etc.), sponsors, permitting and volunteers. The Event Coordinator will also be in charge of all on-the-ground responsibilities during the event (January 24 – February 2, 2020) and coordinating clean-up and post-event wrap-up and de-brief.
As the Event Coordinator, you should have prior experience and knowledge of successful event management, excellent organization and communication abilities. A strong attention to detail is vital in this role.
The McCall Area Chamber of Commerce will provide support and be a resource for event preparations as well as provide a handbook as a guide to the Event Coordinator. The Event Coordinator will also work with the McCall Area Chamber’s Marketing Contractor to facilitate the promotion of the McCall Winter Carnival, develop collateral and materials as needed.
– At least 3 years’ experience as an event coordinator or similar position.
– Well-organized with excellent multi-tasking abilities.
– Outstanding management skills.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Marketing or Public Relations or other related field is preferred.
The Event Coordinator will be paid as a contractor a project rate of $8,000. A bonus structure is also in place based performance.
