McCall Arts and Humanities Council presents Cabin Fever: Felt Vessels on Tuesday, April 4th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Heartland High School with Jan Bittenbender.
Wet felting is one of the world’s oldest forms of cloth-making. We will use this technique to form a beautiful vessel using merino wool and silk/bamboo fibers. Students will have their choice of a wide assortment of colors. The smaller vessel will be completed in class
Jan Bittenbender is a local artist who for years designed beaded jewelry. About 4 years ago, she learned wool-felting techniques and now makes felted pictures, gloves, scarves and flowers. She loves teaching and has been sharing this fascinating art form locally and in the Sun Valley area for the past year.
