What: Reception with live music by Annie Nies and Jeff Box

Description: Painter Heidi Barnett is Gallery 55’s guest for May. Her inventive painting technique is called “Organic Pointillism.” Influenced by George Seurat’s paintings from the 19^th c., Heidi uses points of color to create paintings, primarily of the natural world. The effect is surreal and impressionistic, an interactive experience for the viewer.

Join us for a reception on First Saturday, May 4, 4-6:30 p.m. We’ll have live music by Annie Nies and Jeff Box.

View Heidi’s work and the work of over twenty regional artists at Gallery 55 during the month of May. The gallery is open 11-5 daily.
