Join the McCall Arts & Humanities Council for an engaging evening celebrating the past, present, and future of the Seven Devils Playwrights Conference. This special presentation will explore the history and impact of the Conference through stories and reflections from former Artistic Director Jeni Mahoney and others who have helped shape the organization over the years. Guests will also enjoy a short staged reading excerpt from a play developed during the 2022 Conference I Carry You Heart With Me by Jennifer Blackmer.

The evening will also offer a look ahead at what’s next for Seven Devils, including this year’s programming and the development of a new Theater for Young Audiences (TYA) play created for middle school-aged audiences and beyond.

Founded in McCall, the Seven Devils Playwrights Conference is dedicated to supporting playwrights and developing bold new theatrical works through workshops, readings, and artistic collaboration. The Conference has become a nationally recognized incubator for emerging and established voices in contemporary theater.
