Nonprofit Speed Dating

May 3, 2026

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

This new community event aims to help residents connect with local nonprofits in a fun and fast-paced way while kicking off Idaho Gives week.

Mission Matchmaking: McCall Area Nonprofit Speed-Dating will be held Sunday, May 3, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Glass House in McCall. The event invites community members, especially those new to the area, to meet local nonprofit leaders through short rotating conversations designed to introduce participants to organizations serving Adams and Valley counties.

Rather than traditional information tables, attendees will rotate between nonprofits every five minutes, hearing a brief mission pitch followed by time for questions and conversation. Participants will receive matchmaking cards with suggested questions to help guide discussions and take notes on organizations they would like to support, volunteer with or learn more about.

Sixteen area nonprofits are expected to participate, including AWeSOMe! Adaptive Sports, Ignite Idaho Family Resource/The Anchor Youth Assessment Center, LifeOutdoors, McCall Arts & Humanities Council, McCall Community and Senior Center, McCall Ski Heritage Foundation, McCall Winter Sports Club, McCall-Donnelly Education Foundation, McCall Pride, Payette Lakes Ski Club, Payette Land Trust, The Change House, The Wellness Project, Toby’s Place and Youth Advocacy Coalition.

The event is supported by the McCall Area Chamber of Commerce and serves as a local kickoff to Idaho Gives, Idaho’s statewide celebration of generosity encouraging residents to support nonprofits through donations, volunteering and community engagement.

The event is geared toward adults, with additional Idaho Gives family activities planned later in the week at the May 7 Nonprofit Community Fair.

Community members are invited to attend, meet local changemakers and discover ways to get involved.
