The McCall Music Society is proud to present a very special Second Sunday Sounds at Six concert featuring the world premiere of renowned Idaho composer Jim Cockey’s Concerto for Oboe and Violin with String Orchestra.

This grant-funded project brings together an accomplished professional oboist and violinist with our 14-member Chamber String Orchestra to introduce this remarkable new work to an audience for the very first time. It represents something especially meaningful for our community – the collaboration of a distinguised Idaho composer, professional musicians, local performers, generous grant support, and an engaged audience, all coming together to bring a new piece of music to life.
