The Alex Sjobeck Quartet featuring Vern Sielert celebrate Juneteenth through a specially curated jazz show in celebration of Freedom Day. Vern Sielert is an accomplished jazz Trumpet player and the Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Idaho. He will be joined by Washington based musicians Greg Williamson and Heather Chriscaden along with Boise based pianist Alex Sjobeck.
