World Migratory Bird Day at Ponderosa State Park

World Migratory Bird Day 2024 will be celebrated at Ponderosa State Park on Saturday, June 1st! The event will take place at the Activity Center from 10 AM-12 PM.
A presentation from Snowdon Wildlife Sanctuary will occur at 11:30 AM with a live great-horned owl!
The theme for this year’s World Migratory Bird Day is “Protect Insects, Protect Birds.”
Participating agencies include Ponderosa State Park, the Intermountain Bird Observatory, Snowdon Wildlife Sanctuary, the McCall-Heartland Master Naturalist Chapter, and the US Forest Service.
There will be an information booth, games, activities, crafts, and raffle prizes!
