The McCall Fire Protection District serves 100 square miles of northern Valley County including the City of McCall. Whether you live here, or are one of the thousands of annual visitors, McCall offers numerous year-round activities for all ages such as golfing, skiing, rafting, kayaking, hunting, boating and fishing on beautiful Payette Lake, along with hundreds of miles of trails for unbeatable snowmobile, cross country skiing, hiking and biking opportunities.
McCall Fire is a combination department consisting of both career and volunteer members who provide multiple levels of emergency response including: fire, EMS, wildland, hazmat, swift water, and backcountry rescue. Our personnel train regularly to provide the highest level of service and care for our citizens and visitors.
At McCall Fire we pride ourselves on being your fire department, in addition to emergency response we provide numerous public education and community services including: CPR and First Aid training, child car seat inspections, blood pressure checks, fire prevention and code enforcement, community event standby, station tours, free smoke detectors, $25 chimney sweep refund, public school and daycare education programs.
