The University of Idaho McCall Outdoor Science School (MOSS) is located on the shore of Payette Lake and within the boundaries of Ponderosa State Park. As Idaho’s ONLY publicly operated K12 outdoor school, MOSS offers a one-of-a-kind learning experience for youth, graduate students, teachers and the community. When there are no Residential Programs occurring, MOSS is a rustic, limited service rental facility, much like a state park campground. We do our very best to accommodate guest needs given our resources. We do not guarantee the level of service one might expect at a large hotel or conference facility.
